It's that time again when I've hoarded enough empty products to tell you my honest opinion on them now their all used up. I've got six products to share with you today, their all skincare items apart from one.
So lets get into my trash....
1
Nivea double effect eye make-up remover.
This is one of my all time favourite eye make-up removers. I think its a much cheaper version of the Lancome bi-facial eye make-up remover. Now that one is my all time fave, but its way too expensive! This remover usually costs around £3-£4 rather than Lancome's for £21.50, you can find it on offer at the moment in boots for £1.94. Why do I love this so much? Well all you have to do is shake this up to activate it, hold on your eye for a few seconds and then sweep it gently across your eye. Your eye make-up is removed quickly and easily. No harsh rubbing required, it even removes waterproof mascara. This is great for people with sensitive eyes, as its a gentle formula and it also helps to keep your lashes in tip top condition.
I've already repurchased this remover and will continue to repurchase this, its a staple in my skincare.

Sarah Chapman Skinesis age-repair serum
I only have a sample size that I got at Christmas in a Sarah Chapman starter kit. This is amazing, I really saw a difference in my skin when I was using this product. This serum is supposed to perfect, brighten, firm and reveal glowy skin. It's also said to combat the first signs of ageing, uneven dark pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles. This serum boasts that it does a lot of things and with a hefty price tag of £48 for 30ml it had better deliver. Personally I did see results when using this, my skin looked brighter and had a healthy glow to it. I can't really say too much on the anti-ageing as I've not got too many lines myself right now. But prevention is the cure! This is a luxury product, but its the only serum that I've used where I could see a difference in my skin and could actually believe that it will help to slow down the signs of ageing, which is what everyone wants right?
I'll have to save up for this, but yes I would see myself repurchasing this in the future. The sample I had was only15ml and it lasted me for six months so cost per use I think it's worth the splurge.

Talika - Photo-Hydra day moisturiser
This is not like other moisturisers, it uses energy from natural light to deeply moisturise and hydrate the skin. I received this full sized product in a Glossybox, (you can find it on offer for £27 on Beauty Bay)
I was quite excited to try this. I'd never heard of a moisturiser using light to help hydrate your skin. It claims to plump, nourish and hydrate skin. To be quite honest I didn't really see a difference in my skin at all, it didn't look plumper and it certainly didn't feel any more hydrated than usual. I used this in the winter months too, when my skin gets quite a few dry patches. It didn't seem to help these dry patches, which I was quite disappointed with. This may be down to the fact that I work in an office with no windows though. So I'm getting no natural light to my skin, which is what this moisturiser says it uses to deeply hydrate your skin. So for somebody that see's the natural sunlight more, may find that this product will work for them.

For me though it's not a product that I will be repurchasing, it definitely doesn't fit in with my lifestyle.

Ole Henricksen - The clean truth cleansing cloths
When I received this travel pack of face wipes in my Birchbox I was so excited! I'd heard so many great things about these wipes from you-tubers. Your looking at £12 for a pack that has 30 face wipes in. I've never spent more than £3 on face wipes, so I never thought I would get the chance to try these. These claim to cleanse, brighten and hydrate the skin in one easy step. They also claim to sweep away dirt, oil and make-up leaving your skin rejuvenated, hydrated and feeling fresh. I'm so glad I got the chance to try these out because I would have been majorly disappointed if I'd have spent £12 on these face wipes! My £3 face wipes are a lot better than these. I found that these took me forever to remove make-up, the whole point of a face wipe for me is to remove your make-up quick and easy on those nights when you can't be bothered. I found that I spent a good 5-10 minutes trying to get my eye make-up off. I would have been quicker doing my full night cleansing routine! Yes these did leave my face feeling fresh and hydrated, but no more than my usual face wipes.
I personally wont be wasting my money on these face wipes, they are a princess product! I would rather save my money and buy my just as good, if not better £3 face wipes and put the other £9 towards something more worthy.

Benefit - Dream screen
Another sample that I received in my Birchbox. This is a sun-cream for you face that has SPF45 in it, it costs £25 for 45ml. It's am invisible, silky-matte and lightweight on the skin. You apply this before your moisturiser. This is brilliant sun protection for your face, I took this on holiday with me when we went on our American adventure. I thought it would be a great product to use to protect my face from sun exposer. I found out just how well this product worked as the first day in San Francisco we were so excited we forgot about sun-cream and ended up sunburnt. Apart from my face and a little patch on my hand where I had squeezed the product out to apply on my face. I'd gone all day without reapplying and that patch on my hand and my face didn't have one bit of redness. My face was well and truly protected from the harmful sun.
I would and will be repurchasing this product to use on future holidays and in the UK summer, when we get one.

Benefit - They're real push up liner
Lastly is this gel liner pen, if you have read older posts you will know I had a bit of a love hate relationship with this product. This is a matte black gel liner that's waterproof, smudge and budge proof. You can pick this up for £18.50 from Benefit and now also in other colours. My love hate relationship came from not being able to get the product out the tube that well and when I did manage to I found that there was too much wasting of the product. I found that it was easier to twist until a chunk came up and then apply this to the back of my hand, then I would have to dip the nib into the gel on my hand and apply it that way. I couldn't really get this product to work any other way than this. But it did work well, it glided on smoothly, I found the nib easy to use to get a cat eye and once it was dry it was budge proof. You need a good eye make-up remover to remove this bad boy.
I do like this product, but I don't think I will rush out to buy it soon. I love my liquid pen liners more, however I wouldn't mind trying one of the coloured versions of this out.
Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts on them?

I had exactly the same issues with the benefit liner! When it works it a great liner! But the mess that it comes with drove me mad!
