Empties

I don't quite remember the last time I did one of these posts for you. I've finally saved up enough of my empty products, so I can give you a truly honest opinion of them. Half of my empties are actually make-up, which is slightly satisfying to me. As make-up does seem to take forever to use up. I also have one skincare item and two hair care items to share with you.

Vitamasques - Hydro Face Mask
Sheet masks have become so popular in the last year and for me I think this is the best one I've tried so far. I got this one out of a recent Glossy box, with the promise of up to 120 hours of skin hydration. I was very intrigued to try this out.
This mask is designed to provide hydration and moisture retention in the skin. This mask contains AMF (artificial moisturising factor) which enhances the skin's ability to retain moisture. AMF has been proven to keep the skin hydrated for up to 120 hours. This mask also contains extracts from the Rose of Jericho, which enhances and further optimises moisture retention in the skin.
I used this after my holiday as I knew the sun and the air con on the plane would have dried my skin out. One of the best factors about the mask was that it comes in two parts. Which in my eyes is so much better, as not everyone's face is the same size and shape. Being able to apply both section properly meant that I got the fit better to my face and was able to keep the mask away from my eyes. Another great thing about this mask, was that it wasn't overly saturated in the product. It seemed to have just the right amount of liquid in the mask. I've often had to lie down to sop the liquid dripping everywhere and to stop the mask from sliding off my face. This mask however, I could walk around without the fear of it falling off my face and I didnt have to worry about the liquid dropping off anywhere. This is £7.99 for just one face mask, which is quite expensive. But for a one off treat every now and then, it will be great.
I would repurchase this again as a treat every now and then. I will also be looking out for more sheet masks that come in two parts.

Batiste Dry Shampoo - Cherry
I picked this up from Asda really cheap, I think it was on roll back for £1. I haven't used batiste for a long time. I stopped using it because it left white marks on anything that I'd sprayed it near. But I have to say, it is one of the cheaper better dry shampoos. Hair does look clean and fresh with a couple of sprays. I like using this the night before, If I think my hair is looking slightly greasy before I go to bed. This ensures that I wake up with fresh hair and I can just add a bit more in, in the morning if it needs it. This dry shampoo is also great as adding texture and body to your hair. So its not just to refresh your hair. I've actually fallen back in love with this dry shampoo and have already repurchased another bottle, but this time i've gone for the good old original one. There is plenty of different scents to choose from and there 200ml bottles are priced from £2.99

Beauty Protector - Protect and Oil
This is an hair oil sample that I got in my Birchbox quite a while back. Hair oils always seem to take so long to use up, even little samples like this. But I do switch between a few, especially as they seem to be the main item that you get in a lot of these beauty boxes. I did enjoy using this one though, it smelt amazing and promised to keep hair healthy, shiny and happy. This oil doesn't just smooth out fly-aways it also protects again UV rays, heat and works to strengthen your hair. This is a birchbox exclusive item, so it can only be purchased off there for £22. This is quite pricey for a hair oil, but you do get 118ml.
I did really enjoy using this oil and if I didn't have so many hair oils to get through I probably would repurchase this. I may repurchase it a lot later on when I've got through the many hair oils I own. But for now I'm going to keep on to the little bottle, as I think it will be perfect to refill and take with me when I travel.

Benefit They're Real -  Tinted Primer
This was another sample that I got out of my birchbox last January. I learned the hard way how important primers are for your lashes. I wear mascara everyday so my lashes got really dried out that they were all short and didn't look great at all! Once I started using lash primer, my lashes started to grow back the length that they once wear. This primer is different from most primers though. Not only does this primer condition your lashes, boost length and separate. But its also tinted a mink brown colour. Most primers are white, so you have to apply mascara over the top of it. With this primer, you can decide if you want to go for a more natural no make-up day and just use this to lengthen, define and condition your lashes.
This costs £18.50, which I think is absolutely worth it. I love this lash primer and I most definitely will be repurchasing this. If you want to find out more about this I did do a full review earlier in the year.

Bourjois - Healthy Mix Foundation
You may notice the very old packaging on this foundation. Yes I have had this in my collection for a while now. That's because this one is in my summer shade, so it doesn't get used as often as the rest of my other foundations do. At £9.99 this is one of my favourite drug store foundations. It uses three types of fruit therapy to enhance your complexion. These are, apricot for radiance, melon for hydration and apple to protect youth. This foundation gives you a radiant, flawless complexion that lasts a good 8hours.
I have already been through a few bottles of these and I will most likely be repurchasing it again at some point in the future.

Soap and Glory - One Heck Of A Blot
You may have seen this one in a few empties of mine as it is one of my holy grail powders. Its a translucent powder, that sets make-up in place and keeps shine at bay. This absorbs oil, is ultra light and gives skin a velvety finish. There's nothing not to like about this product. I've gotten through many of these, but at £12 it is an expensive drug store product.
For now I'm testing out a cheaper drug store translucent powder, which will ultimately lead to my decision of whether or not I will repurchase this product again.

I hope that this has helped you decide if you would like to try or stay away from any of these products. If you have tried any of the above, let me know what your thoughts were on them
Also. let me know below of any sheet mask brands that have two parts to them. I'm really interested in finding more of these type of sheet masks.
