Benefits world famous neutrals review

Everyone needs to own a good neutrals pallette. I own a couple, but I couldn't resist buying this eyeshadow kit from benefit.

I hadn't been to the benefit counter for quite a while due to me being a bit of a makeup horder and owning many benefit products. I caught myself browsing the counter looking not for me, but for a friends birthday present. When this packaging caught my eye.

There were 3 book like products all lined up in row on the counter. On taking a closer look I was able to see that they were eyeshadow kits. Glamourous nudes, easiest nudes and sexiest nudes ever. After swatching them I decided that I had to take home the Glamourous nudes ever mainly due to 2 reasons.
The first is that Its not your average pallette as it comes with not only 4 eyeshadows but 2 creaseless cream shadows. If you haven't tried the creaseless cream shadows from benefit were have you been! They are so creamy and easy to blend but also have a staying power of an eyeshadow primer. The second reason was that it had the prettiest rose gold eyeshadow in the kit. So obviously I had to buy it.

The two creaseless cream shadows that are in the kit left to right are birthday suit (brushed Crome) and my two cents (copper) as I said these are so creamy, easy to blend and they are so versatile. You can apply on the eye to act as a base to keep your shadow there all day, use them as an eye
Shadow colour or even use them as an eyeliner.

The four eyeshadows included left to right are call my bluff (pale shell), it's complicated (rose gold), gilt-y pleasure (bronze gold) and kiss me, I'm tipsy (chocolate brown) these shadows are satin, have a good colour pay off, they are easy to blend and silky in texture.

This kit is easy to use and so versatile as you can do day and night looks with it, or even just use the cream shadows as a liner. I love how compact it is so you could throw it in your handbag or makeup bag. Perfect for if you wanted to take it to work to turn your day look into a night look.
I would say the only bad thing about the product which is a minor thing, is that the lid does not stay open very well on its own. I find I have to keep hold of it. But I'm sure with more use I will ware this product in.

I've had this product for about 3 weeks now and have been reaching for it everyday. I recently moved  house and had to pack all my makeup away so kept out what I thought were essentials for me. This eyeshadow kit made the cut to that essential list and I definitely would not be without it now.

I highly recommend you check it out at your local benefit counter if your in need of a neutral eyeshadow kit. This product retails at £23.50 a bit expensive but I think it's definitely worth it.

If you would like to know what else was in my makeup bag of essentials or if you have any recommendations for a great neutral pallette then please let me know.
