Beauty haul

Over the last month ive bought a few products here and there, so I thought I would put them all together in one blog post.

My first purchase came from tkmaxx, I bought these nails inc nail polishes. They came in a set of three. I think this should have been around £30 but these were reduced down to £16. Which is really good value as one of there nail polishes can be between £12 and £15. The three nail polishes you get are one from the blossom collection called covent garden mews, this looks like little flower petals in pastel shades. One from the new white collection called Lilly road, this is a really pale baby pink. The last one is from the Alexa Chung collection, it’s the Alexa lace which is red lace effect.

The second purchase came from house of Fraser, at the benefit counter. I was in desperate need for some face cream. Ive never had any problems with the benefit triple performance face cream so I decided to repurchase this one even though I loved the elemis one I was using its far too expensive. This moisturiser was £22.50, its oil free and has spf15.

One my next trip out I purchased a couple of things from the supermarket. I have not used nose strips in ages and have noticed a bit of a black head buildup! Ive always found that t-zone are the best ones that I've purchased from the supermarket but I had not seen these ones before. They are charcoal nose strips. These are apparently ultra cleansing and are naturally purifying. These only cost £1.29, ill let you know what I think of them.

I picked up this organic extra virgin coconut oil that was £5.99. Since I was ill my skin and even my scalp has been so dry. So I thought I would try this out as a hair and scalp mask to see if it would help. I've also heard how good coconut oil is for many things so I thought it would be good to have it on hand.

I also repurchased the nivea double effect eye makeup remover, this really gets the job done before bed at removing the stubborn mascara. This was £3.

Next I hit up boots and bought 3 Barry M nail polishes. These were on 3 for 2 and cost £3.99 each. I picked up the mani mask in the shade birthday suit. This helps to condition your nails while also adding a nude colour to them. I picked up the super mani 7 in 1 treatment that you can use twice weekly or as a base coat. This encourages growth, strengthens with keratin, nourishes with argon oil, promotes shine, hydrates with vitamin E, smoothes the nail surface and protects from breakage. The last one I picked up is one of there speedy quick dry nail paints in the shade pit stop, which is a pastel grey. I also picked up a lip brush from no7, this cost £8 which I didn’t want to pay for a lip brush. But its retractable so I hope its worth it.

Lastly I placed an online order with urban decay. I had seen the new summer collection and really wanted to try out there new foundation.  It’s the Naked skin one and done, it’s called a hybrid complexion perfector. It supposed to combine the benefits of a sheer foundation with the coverage of a tinted moisturiser. I went for the shade light, but I wasn’t sure if I would be light or the next shade up. However if you have been matched up for the original naked skin foundation you can go on there website and find out the correct shade for  the one & done foundation.  This foundation costs £25.00, I cant wait to try it out and tell you what I think of it.

I was also in need of a new eye primer so I picked up one of those for £16. Usually I pick up the travel sized version at £8 which you get 6ml of. It works out cheaper to buy to travel sizes as you end up getting 12ml of product rather than 10ml of product in the full size. However I couldn’t see the travel sized one on there website, I usually order it from house of Fraser or buy it when im somewhere that has a debenhams. But as I was buying the foundation I thought I may as well get some as ill be running out very soon.

The very last item I bought was the Gwen Stefani ex girlfriend lipstick. I loved the sheer formula and colour of this. I knew I would get the most wear out of this lip colour and probably end up with it being a staple item in my handbag. This was £16.00, urban decay is probably the most expensive lipsticks I own but I feel that there so worth it.

I also received a sample of the urban decay revolution high-colour lipgloss in the shade scandal. It’s a bright pink liquid lipstick. You get 1.7ml to sample, its perfect for travelling and trying a new colour. I love when you receive a free sample, but that’s when you also now you’ve spent to much money on the website.

I cant wait to try out all these products and give you my thoughts on them. Im especially excited to try the urban decay foundation. Is there anything that you’ve bought recently that your excited to try?
