Happy New Year everyone!! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and celebrated New Year with your loved ones. You may have noticed, I never did a December favourite's. For the past few years I haven't done one. Instead of doing a December favourite's, I like to do a round up of all my beauty favourite's, from the year. So if you haven't guessed this post is going to be jam packed full of beauty products, so grab a drink and see what my favourite's of 2016 are.
Lets start with the face....
Primer - Benefit's porefessional. This has been a favourite of mine, for quite some time and will most likely continue to be. I'm yet to find a primer that's better than this one.
Foundation - Urban Decay, one and done. I probably find a new foundation I love every year. But with there being so many new ones being launched every year. Its just too easy to keep finding great foundations. This one is light, long lasting and gives a decent coverage.
Concealer - Maybelline fit me, in the shade 15. This was in my favourite's last year. It's creamy, blendable and doesn't crease up throughout the day.
Powder - Benefit's porefessional pro powder. This stuff is amazing, it hides pores leaving you with a flawless finish and it keeps shine at bay, all day long.
Bronzer - Benefit's hoola. This was my 2015 and now also, a 2016 favourite. You just cant go wrong with this bronzer, is perfect for summer or winter. It just adds that perfect glow to your skin.
Blusher - Urban Decay's, Gwen Stefani blush palette. Yes I know, I kind of cheated on the blusher. But I never just use one, I'm always switching them up. This has to be the one palette that I've reached for continuously, this year. It has shades suitable, for all year round.
Highlighter - Nars, Albatross. This is a beautiful golden highlight. It's really pigmented and a little bit of this, really does go a long way.
Onto the eyes....
Primer - Urban Decay primer potion. Probably one of the best eye primers, ever! It was last years favourite and will continue, to be a favourite of mine.
Eye palette - Urban Decay's, Gwen Stefani. Urban Decay's eye shadows, to me are hands down the best. They are buttery soft, have great pigmentation, blend amazingly and they have plenty of colours to choose from. But the Gwen Stefani palette is one perfect for me, as its suited for us pale faced ladies.
Eye Liner - Kat Von D's, tattoo liner. I finally found my perfect, stay all day liner, that creates the perfect winged line.
Mascara - Too Faced, better than sex. This gives amazing volume and curve to the lashes. All without leaving lashes clumpy.
Brow - Benefit's Ka-brow. I've never owned a brow gel before. But since trying this, I don't think I'll be using anything different.
Lastly is the lips...
Lip Balm - The organic pharmacy's, antioxidant balm. If you didn't guess, that this would make it into my favourite's. Then you haven't been reading these posts closely enough.
Lipstick - Urban Decay, in the shade Liar. It's the perfect nude lipstick. Any urban decay lipstick is great, there creamy, pigmented and keep lips hydrated.
Lip gloss - Urban Decay revolution gloss, in the shade scandal. I've not really worn lip gloss much throughout 2016. But every time I have, this is always the one I reach for.
