Haul

It's haul time again, I've bought a few items from a few different places. All things that I've never tried before so here's hoping I'll love them.

My first purchase was a much needed new eye cream. I liked the one that I had been using but I wanted to try a new one in the hope of finding something better. I purchased the eye revive beauty flash cream by clarins for £23.95 from allbeauty.com
This cream is supposed to refresh, tone, moisturise, smooth and decongest the skin around the eye, so that tired eyes look and feel brighter, smoother, firmer, hydrated and reduce dark shadows and puffiness. I'll report back once I've tried it out.

As you know I really like the benefit creaseless cream shadows but they are quite pricey. When I was walking down the makeup aisle in Tesco and saw the maybelline colour tattoo 24hrs I got curious as to see if they were anything like the benefit creaseless cream shadows. I picked up the colour on and on bronze as I though it was the only wearable colour there (not a large selection at the supermarket but there's a wider range in boots). From switching the consistency seems to be the same and the colour pay off is as good too. I just need to test the staying power of these. You can pick these up at boots for £4.99

My next two purchases happened at hull in Debenhams as a few of us went down to the beauty festival and evening lock in for hull fashion week the first product I purchased was one that had been on my wish list to buy and the other was purchased on a complete whim.

At this event you could get your brows done for free here's Lucy and sian getting there brows done. There was free samples being handed out and goodie bags for any purchase made.

The purchase that was on my wish list was the benefit big easy you can get this and your local Debenhams, house of Fraser or online sat benefit for £27.50. I've been wanting this for a while after seeing a few good reviews. I prefer a more lightweight foundation for the summer and this one is perfect especially as it has SPF 35. It also says that it balances moisture and controls oil which for me sounds like heaven as I have combination skin. It's also a liquid to powder finish which I prefer a more matt look.

With my purchase I got a few samples to try from benefit the total moisture facial cream, 2 benefit big easy samples in shade 2 and 4 and a extremely small fake up concealer. I was not super impressed by the samples from benefit I thought they were quite stingy as you will see from my next purchases goodie bag.

My whim purchase was a Lancôme mascara, I was stood starring at the counter while sian and Lucy where trying out the foundation when the mascara caught my eye. The mascaras are quite pricey but I had heard good things about them. So I decided to get the hypnosis classic as it's won many awards for being brilliant. The kind lady on the counter pointed out that I could get a set that had the full size mascara, a mini black eye liner and a mini bi facil cleanser for £22.50 the same price the mascara would have cost me on its own. Bonus!

Inside my goodie bag for purchasing an item there was, visionnaire advanced multi-correcting cream, dream tone ultimate dark spot corrector no3 (sad that it's for dark skin but I should be able to still see what it's like), genifique youth activating concentrate, genifique yeux youth activating eye concentrate, visionnaire advanced skin corrector, la vie est belle eau de toilette and teint visionnaire foundation again in a dark shade but I should be able to see what it's like from the sample.

I was also handed a few samples when walking around the store, Estée Lauder double wear foundation, Thierry mugler angel eau de toilette, bed head tigi recharge shampoo and conditioner and a few bed head urban antidotes recovery treatment mask.
