Fashion Friday - Fashion Haul part 2 shoes and accessories

Here’s what you’ve been waiting for part 2 of the fashion haul.

I’m going to start off with the most exciting... shoes!!

I’m not afraid to say I have a bit of a shoe problem, probably like most of you ladies. So obviously me being me I felt that I needed some more shoes.

I’ve bought 3 new pairs recently the first pair was a bit on the expensive side. My Michael Kors flats which I’m completely obsessed with. They are mainly nude with black on the toes and heel. They also have the MK logo on the side of the heel. I found these in TK Maxx for £49.99 they should have been £99 so there a great bargain for what they are. I live and die in flats during most days and if I want to wear heels I like to be able to bring some comfy flats with me. So I do seem to wear the life out of my flats. The reason I justified buying these is that I know these will last me unlike my other flats due to them being real leather and they are the type of shoe that is worth re-healing and re-soleing when they need it. They will also go with any outfit due to the colour.
My next pair of shoes was also from TK Maxx these were only £19.99 and by the brand report which I’ve never heard. I have been looking for some really nice tan sandals as I only seem to own black. When I saw these in TK Maxx I had to have them, the slight heel and bow like gold hardware down the front is so me. I love the gladiator style look to them too. These are really comfy; I’ve been wearing these quite a bit since buying them. Perfect for the summer!
The last pair of shoes I purchased are flip flops from House of Fraser. Flip flops are a staple for the summer time and I needed a new pair as I always buy the really cheap ones from Primark which don’t hold up that long. When I was walking through house of Fraser on my way to cafe Nero I saw these out the corner of my eye. They reminded me of the ted baker ones which are £35.00 these are by head over heels (dune’s brand) for the faction of the price, £18.00. I had a voucher for house of Fraser that had £11.00 left on it so I didn’t think putting £7.00 towards some pretty shoes was bad at all. These are perfect as I know these will last me quite a few summers, they are hard wearing with a thick enough sole not to feel the stones when walking. You can also wipe these down with them being the jelly flip flop.
Onto accessories, I bought these pretty little flower clips from Primark for only £1.50. My sister was having a cocktail party and insisted we wore something with flowers on it so I decided to put one of these in my hair. They work great in the hair or they can dress up a vest top by clipping it to the strap of the top.
I can’t stop looking at this bag I think it’s amazing. This was another find from TK Maxx; this was in the clearance section as well so even more of a bargain than normal. This should have been £42.00, Tk Maxx price was £16.99 and then it went down to £8.00 in the clearance. This is a clutch bag by Beth J; it has black metallic sequins all over with black metallic chain hardware all around the side finishing with a twisted chain top knot where you open the clutch. Included is a little strap you can attach to the clutch to make it into a bag as shown in the picture. I’m absolutely in love with this bag and can’t wait to use it.
My last find in TK Maxx was these sunglasses by Guess £24.99 should have been £50. I’ve needed a new pair for a while now as the paintwork was coming off mine (not a good look). I love big sunnies as I can’t stand to see my eyebrows poking out the top of my sunglasses (big no no for me) From the front these look like any ordinary pair of black sunglasses but when you see the side you get zebra sexiness. This is what drew me to them; I love a bit of zebra but not too much so that it looks tacky. Guess really got it right with these though as you have that slight zebra on the side and on the inside of the glasses, just the right amount.
My last purchase is a necklace from new look it’s a bright floral jewelled chunky statement necklace. It’s got a gold chain and the back is velvet so there is no annoying scratchy feel on your neck. This has so many colours in it so it will go with plenty of things; it really dresses outfits up and adds brightness.

What have you been buying recently for the summer?
