So as you know I went to Lincoln with my mum and sister for
some retail therapy. When we were in Debenhams we spotted the urban decay
counter and went a little bit giddy as we don’t have one of these in Grimsby
any more. I was very sad when house of Fraser got rid of it.
I ended up buying quite a lot and nearly having heart familiar
at the checkout, as there was so much I wanted right there and then that I
didn’t think about staggering it out and buying the rest online.
The first thing I bought was the urban decay primer potion
(the original) I really needed this I had been out of it for about half a year.
I don’t know how I’ve managed to go that long without repurchasing it. This was
£8 as I only got the travel size, it works out cheaper to buy two travel sizes
rather than the full size as its £18 for 11ml and the travel size is 6ml so you
then get 12ml for £16 (Bonus).
My sister wanted to try out the new naked skin beauty balm
and when I saw it being applied to her face and watching her face go from dull
to luminous and pore free (Her skin looked good enough to not put foundation
on). I had to try it out myself to see if it looked the same on my skin and it
did. When she applied it I felt confident that I could go out without
foundation on. There are three new ones that have been released and I got the
illuminating beauty balm for £23
My sister also tried the naked ultra definition liquid
makeup on top of the beauty balm and omg her skin looked so flawless and soft
so of course I had to try that out too and loved that. So I also bought that for
£27 in shade 2.0. They also had this offer on that if you bought the foundation
you got this little set that you can see pictured for £5 which included a
travel size all nighter setting spray which I have been wanting to try for ages
so I was super happy about that and a mini optical blurring brush. I have heard
great things about that brush so I can’t wait to use that. Fun fact – the lady
told us that all there brushes are made from recycled bottles. I was completely
amazed by that as they are so soft, and it’s defiantly going to encourage me to
buy more of their brushes because of that, and because they generally are
really good brushes.
I then picked up one of their revolution lipsticks in the
colour obsessed for £15, which is a lovely pink shade that suits my skin tone
so well.
The last item I didn’t buy myself. My mum is getting married
in a few weeks time and she decided to buy me, my sister and step sister an
item from urban decay as a thank you gift for giving her away and being bridesmaids.
The item I got was the urban decay naked 3 palette. I really wanted this for
Christmas but they were all sold out at the time and I never got round to
ordering it. I don’t own any of the naked pallets and I’m so glad I waited as I
think this is one is the best out of the three, the colours are so pretty. This
set also comes with a brush and 4 samples of all the different eye primers. I can’t
wait to try all the shades out.
Once I’ve tried these out I will let you know what I think.
Have any of you guys tried any of these, what did you think?
