So today I thought I would share with you what I took to Bruges with me.
We had never been on a mini cruise before so we didn't know what the luggage situation would be like, as your not always likely to get the same cabin on the way back and we were unsure if there would be somewhere to store it on board. However if we had done some proper research before going I'm sure we could have found this out.
We decided we were going to travel very light and bought backpacks especially for the occasion. Perfect excuse to get a fashionable backpack, even the husband liked the idea.
I picked up this two toned backpack from boohoo I believe it was £22. It's a great price and it was surprising how much I could get into it. The main reason I bought this one was due to the secret zip pocket at the back, very secure as it's always on your back. It also has four compartments in the middle of the bag and one at the front too.
Moving onto what I packed into the bag, starting with clothes first. My Christmas pj's from Asda last year, underwear and socks of course there just not pictured. My hat is from Tesco last year and gloves from sainsburys this year. I didn't pack any spare clothes with me as we were only going for a couple of days I knew my outfit would last.
For skinacre and makeup I brought the essentials with me.
I brought this brush roll up that was handmade by a friend. The brushes I brought with me were the real techniques foundation buffing brush, benefit bronzer brush, blusher brush, concealer brush, eyeshadow brush and a eyebrow brush.
I tried to bring miniatures for skincare so it brought my benefit triple moisturiser for the day and clarins eye cream. For the night I brought this h2o hydrating treatment that I'm trying out. Simple face wipes for the initial quick cleanse and in my small bioderma bottle I put some of the dr jart tight pore effect toner.
For makeup it really was bare minimum and miniatures if I had them. I packed the rimmel matt bb cream in light (miniature), benefit erase paste concealer, benefit porefessional powder, lord and berry bronzer in sienna (miniature) bourjois blusher in golden rose, Dior 5 couleurs in incognito (miniature), soap and glory supercat eyeliner, urban decay primer (travel size) Clinique high impact mascara (miniture) Jane iredale lash conditioner (miniature) model co more brows.
The last few items was a comb, hair grips, Clear elastics, a mirror, Revlon lip butter in pink truffle, fresh breath spray and a mini benefit laugh with me lee lee perfume.
