I have needed a new bronzer brush for some while now as mine is starting to fall apart. I like an angled brush for application of my bronzer so I went on the search for one. I came across this blush brush from lily lolo. I've never heard of this brand before but I decided to give it a try as it was only £7.99. I haven't used the brush yet but the bristles feel really soft. I like the clean black and white look to the brush. I'm hoping it will apply nicely too
I recently noticed how short my eyelashes had got. Wearing mascara everyday and not being as gentle as I should with my lashes when removing my mascara has really took its toll on my lashes. This led to me searing for a serum to use on my lashes. I found this one by mavala which is a product that is rich in vitamins and proteins. It is supposed to strengthen the lashes making them longer full and stronger. It can also be used on brows too. This had really great reviews online so I decided to give this a try. It was priced at £11.70. I haven't had chance to try this out yet but as soon as I do a review of the product.
Staying on the eyelashes I decided to purchase an eye lash primer. I had a lash primer in one of my birchbox's a while ago but it was only a small sample. I had a small amount left in my sample so I started using it before my mascara as it conditions your eyelashes and stops them from drying out which causes the breakage of your eyelashes. I decided to purchase the urban decay subversion primer priced at £15.50 as I've heard great things about this primer and I do have the perversion mascara that I have yet to try out, it came in my on the run pallete but I have far too many mascaras open to open another one yet. I've tried this out and so far love it, it makes application of the mascara so much nicer. But I will go into that in more depth in another post.
The last item I decided to buy was some false lashes. I decided to try the Tanya burr everyday flutter lashes priced at £4.39 these are half lashes and I really liked the look of them as I like more volume and length at the outer corner of my eye. I think it makes my eyes look more awake and suits my eye shape more. I have quite small eyes as well, so when I buy normals lashes I always struggle getting them to fit and stay on my eyes nicely. I also find it such a faff to have to cut them down too as I don't want to ruin the nice look of the £5 lashes. I have not tried these yet but I will be using them in the next couple weeks as I have a birthday night out and a wedding to attend.
I had a code to get 20% of my order which was a bonus as i always seem to get codes when I don't need to purchase anything. With my order I also got to choose two sample. I chose the bourjois health mix serum. I love the healthy mix foundation but I have never tried the serum. The second sample I chose was the kenzo flower in the air perfume, I like sample perfumes to try and fine a new perfume I may like.
Have you tried any of these products, what did you think of them?
