What's in my travel makeup bag?

As you guys know I was in leeds last weekend. I decided that I was going to fit all my beauty, skincare, hair and shower products in one bag. The last few times I've been away for the weekend I have taken one bag for skincare and makeup and another bag for my hair and shower products, which takes up way too much room and I just don't need all that stuff. I made sure that all the stuff I was bringing was products I was definitely going to use, multi use products or travel sized. I was so proud of myself for managing to fit it all into one makeup bag and I thought you guys might be interested to see what I brought with me.

My travel bag is pictured right at the back. It's white with a brown base, brown inside with the word love across it. This is a Kenneth Cole bag that I found in tkmaxx last December it's really big and looks classy.

I'll start with the makeup that I took with me. Firstly I have the urban decay on the run palette, I've had this since Christmas and I'm quite mad at myself for not using it more when I go for weekends away, as this is the perfect travel palette. It has 6 eyeshadows, a bronzer, a blusher, a lipgloss, an eyeliner and a mascara. I also brought stila's smudge stick in smoke to change my look for the night time. The foundation I brought was a sample size of the Estée Lauder double wear, I really like this and need to buy the full sized one. I brought two concealers one for redness which is by collection and my maybeline fit me for under my eyes. My face powder is soap and Glory's one heck of a blot and my highlight was a mini benefit high beam. Even though there was a liner in my palette I still brought two more liners with me a liquid pen liner by soap and glory to change my look for the night and a black pencil liner for my water line again for the night. I packed three primers a sample from benefit of there professional, I knew I would only need a nights worth of this so this size was perfect. My second primer is urban decay primer potion for the eyelids, this is the travel sized version and the last primer is the urban decay lash primer which is full size. For brow products I brought the b defined eyebrow kit and the model co's brow gel. The last makeup item I brought with me was some false lashes from vintage cosmetics and lash glue by revlon.

The skincare products that I brought with me were garniers micellar gel eye makeup remover, benefits moisture prep toning lotion in a travel version, benefits triple performance moisturiser in a travel version, first aid beauty eye cream, caudalie beauty elixir and the mavala eyelash treatment.

Shower and hair products are usually the products that take up a lot of room so I tried to bring travel sized were possible. For shampoo and conditioner although pictured is the brand beauty protector it's actually Paul Mitchell's shampoo and conditioner I kept these mini bottles so I could refill them rather than go out and buy mini hair products. I have a mini body scrub from rituals in Orange cedar from my birchbox, my razor is from Venus and my body lotion is a miniature from Vaseline which I got from glossy box a while ago. I have a mini detangler product from beauty protector that conditions, detangles, minimises frizz, adds shine snd protects from uv and heat. The heat protector for my straighteners is the vo5 tame and shine spray and my hair brush is my tangle teezer.

That's all the products I brought with me for the weekend. I hope this helps you think about multi use products to take with you on future mini breaks and also about saving mini bottles to fill up with products you like.

What are your favourite products to take with you when you go away?
