GHD launched a while back four different curling tools. The creative curl wand, the classic wave wand, the classic curl tong and the soft curl tong. I already have the babyliss curl secret so I decided to go with the classic wave wand as I liked how the curls/waves  looked in the promo photo. 

 

The wand is really light weight and easy to use.  It takes seconds for it to heat up which is great when your in a rush. You do the same as you would with any other wand, wrapping your hair around the barrel, holding for a few seconds and then letting the curl drop. With the oval shape  of the wand you get glamorous waves which is the look GHD says this wand creates, hollywood style waves.

 

I sprayed with my usual paul mitchell hair spray and these curls lasted not only the full day but I could easily style them the next day, so they still looked great.

 

I really like this wand, I found it was very easy to use. The curls were long lasting even in windy rainy weather we had. This curler gives great looking curls that ive not been able to create with my old curling wand. I got the artic set for christmas and it came with a case that has a heat mat attatched with it and it also come with a glove. I love the case as you can keep your tool stored away nicely so it doesnt get damged, its also great for travelling. The in built heat mat is great for at home use and for travelling too so you dont burn any side by accident. The heat glove im abit on the fence about however. This glove covers the palm of your hand ,your thumb and the two fingers next to your thumb. But it leaves your pinky and ring finger uncovered. This is good so that you can actually feel what hair your grabbing, but a few times i have forgot that the glove does not cover that part of my hand and ended up burning my ring finger knuckle. Which isnt so great. But all in all i love my GHD curler and would easily recomend anyone to try this wand out. 

Here is a picture of how my curls/waves turned out. I apologise for the pictures the one i took of my curls i have managed to delete, so i have these pictures of my hair but these were took with family. So ive had to make sure i cropped them out the picture so thats why they look a bit weird. Sorry there not the greatest pictures, all the ones of me with my hair curled I seem to be in a picture with another person. 

 

If your looking for a new curling tool, I would definitely give GHD tools a look at as I have always found GHD tools to be very reliable and long lasting. I also absolutely adore my curling wand!
