You know me by now I cant resist a sale, I love a bargain.
So with the boxing day sales in force I took my vouchers and money that I had received at christmas.
First up are these gorgeous shoes from river island I had been eyeing these up before christmas, when they went down in price from 70 to 30. After christmas they had gone down to 20 so I snapped them up.
I picked up this black skater dress from topshop. This has a ribbed effect and has this beautiful beading collar. Again I had seen this before Christmas when it was full price, so I was happy that I waited and it had gone down from 38 to 20. I also got this cute gold necklace from topshop. It should have been 8 and was down to 3. Ive never really checked out the jewellery in topshop before as its not a shop I go into that often as I think the clothes are a little over priced for what they are. But I would have bought this full price as I liked it that much, so the fact it was 3 was amazing.
In miss Selfridge I bought two items. The first one was this dress that looks like you’ve layered a polo top underneath but its actually attached all together, it also has this cute little belt with it too. This should have been 45 and was down to 15, an absolute bargain. The next item is this striped polo top, this wasn’t in the sale but I saw it on the mannequin and really liked it and my husband thought that it would really suit me too. I picked this up for 25.
I went into new look but no clothing really caught my eye, I did however pick up a bag, a scarf and a bobble hat. I needed a gold bag to go with my new gold shoes and I happened to come across this one that was 5 (half price), its perfect size for an evening bag. I really wanted a big cosy scarf and this one was in the sale it was 14.99 and went down to 11.24. This is double sided, one side is checkered with red, navy and beige and the other side is a different kind of checkered mainly beige with navy stripes. I got this bobble hat which wasn’t in the sale but I really liked it and needed a new hat, this cost 7.99.
I also ordered a few things from asos. I found these lace up pointed black ballet flats, I like how cute yet smart these look. Ive seen these in other places but I've never justified spending the money on them, as some of them were quite expensive for a flat shoe. These however were down from 28.00 to 19.50. I wanted a pink bag to go with my pink shoes from river island and I found this one on asos for a reasonable price of 18.00 from 30.00. This the Marc B lyla double pocket clutch. It has a zip compartment at the back and a clap fold over section at the front. You can also pull the back and front compartments apart and just take one section out which is pretty cool. This bag is a raspberry colour and its just very slightly darker than my shoes so it’s a pretty good match I think. Then the last item I got was another scarf this one is by asos and its one of there blanket scarfs, its absolutely massive but so god dam cosy. This was down to 10.50 from 18.00.
Im really happy with everything I bought in the sales, I just need to stop looking online now as I'm so bad and any free time I get I just look at clothes!!
Have you found anything you liked in the sales?
