Empties

I never feel like ive used a lot of products up until I do one of these and realise in a month I've actually managed to use up quite a bit.

Ive got 9 products to share with you today so lets get into it.

First up is the tresemme dry shampoo, I really like this and after road testing a few dry shampoos I was quite happy with this being my go to dry shampoo and I still am. This smells fresh absorbs oil nicely and doesn’t leave an overly white scalp that you have to massage in. Even though I really like this I wont be repurchasing it just yet as I picked up the Philip Kingsley one from birch box to see if I would like that.

  1. Simples micellar cleansing wipes - I swap and change my face wipes with whats on offer at the time as I don't particularly use them that much, they just come in handy for those nights you need to speed up your makeup removal. These are made with micellar water in the wipes, for a gentle cleanse. These are supposed to lift makeup away and even waterproof mascara whilst be kind to sensitive skin. There also supposed to leave your face feeling fresh and hydrated. I personally didn’t feel that these removed my makeup as well as the Johnson's face wipes. This did make my skin feel fresh and hydrated but I was left with eyeshadow and mascara clinging on. I wouldn’t go and buy these again, they were not terrible but they were not as good as others ive tried.
  2. Supergoop cc cream in light to medium - This was only a sample, I had two of these and the other one may have either been in a previous empty or may have just escaped into the bin. This is a colour correcting tinted cream. This has great coverage and has and spf of 35. This feels really nice on the face, doesn’t feel cakey. This is one of my favourite foundations for the summer and I will be repurchasing close to summer.
  3. Benefit lipstick in sugar cookie - this is a sparkly nude shade and has been one of my favorite lipsticks for a while. Its wasn’t quite finished but it was very nearly there I had to part ways with it as it broke and started going a bit sweaty looking as ive had it a while so Its past its use by date (gross). I would love to repurchase this as it was so creamy and such a nice shade but benefit have changed there lipstick packaging and in doing so I don’t think they have this shade anymore.
  4. Maybelline eraser eye concealer in the shade light - this is a great concealer that hides under eye circles pretty well, its also anti ageing which is always great for around the eyes. I like this concealer but I haven't repurchased this as I have a few concealers that I need to use up first.
  5. Rimmels day to night mascarra - this has been a long time favoutite of mine, I love how even though it’s the same brush that you can get different looks just by the amount of product on the brush. This lenghtens your lashes and separate them amazingly it also adds great volume when using the night part. This has bee a repurchase quite a few time but I have 9 open mascaras as the moment so I need to use those before they dry out and are gross.
  6. Origins gin zing eye cream- this is described as a refreshing eye cream to brighten and depuff. It was great at brightening the under eye area but it didn't help with depuffing the eye area. This also didn’t feel refreshing on the eye area and I wasn’t really blow away by this eye cream. I didn’t feel like it was doing anything really. This isn't something that I will repurchase again as it’s a bit pricey.
  7. Nivea refreshing cleansing lotion - this is a cleansing lotion for normal to combination skin. It cleanses, hydrates and removes makeup. I bought this because of the moisture hydra IQ effect, which is supposed to help the skin keep its natural moisture balance. I didn’t think that really helped at all, I still ended up with either overly dry patches or overly oily patches. The only thing I can say about this is that it was refreshing. I didn’t enjoy using this and couldn’t wait to use it up so I could try something else as tis just wasn’t cutting it for me.

Lastly is the formula overnight success spot minimising patches - these are a clear patch that have tea tree and grape seed in, that you put onto your spot. The patch is then supposed to work a miracle and minimise your spot overnight. I was very sceptical about these as I didn’t really see how they would work. However if you catch the spot just as you feeling it coming up or just as its appeared you have a great chance of these patches working on minimising it so that it never fully forms and goes away. If you catch it too late though you kinda have no chance and it will turn into a fully fledged spot no matter what you do. I think I would purchase these as they are handy to have in the house but I'm not bothered about going straight out to go get them.

I hope these mini reviews help you. Have any of you used any of these product?
