Beauty Haul

I haven't purchased any new beauty products since I was in America, back in April. I thought it was about time that I treated my self to a few new things. Well, I say a few things but I did end up going a little bit crazy. Oopsy.

First up I went to boots, I haven't been to boots in a while and just looked at the new products. I've bought a lot of high end products lately, so I just wanted to go and check out some drug store products and see if anything took my fancy.

I ended up buying six products, so it would seem that a few products did take my fancy. One of them is a repurchase, I will go through that one first.

It was time to purchase a new one of these, mine looked a little worse for wear and had a few small bits missing from the base part. These are £5.99 and are a great version of a beauty blender that work really well at giving you a flawless base.

I purchased shade 3, which is called Vanilla and it's priced at £14.99. I really wanted to try this, I've never seen a foundation in this way before. It's a cushion that's drenched in liquid foundation. It should give you a fresh, luminous nude finish. You can tap on a little for a sheer finish or a lot for a higher coverage. This is a available in 7 shades and has SPF25 too. This has a applicator included in the product, but I think I'm going to use the real techniques sponge.

There is two shades to choose from out of these, coral glow and golden bronze. I chose coral glow, I thought it looked more softer for the summer. These are priced at £6.99, which is great value for a product that has a highlighter, bronzer and blusher. This sculpting palette is supposed to work with every skin tone and every face shape. On the back of the product is also a sculpting guide.

These are available in three shades, I got the first shade called ivory for £7.99. I thought this would be great under my eyes. This is a light enhancing concealer, that concealer dark circles and imperfections whilst smoothing and hydrating for 24hrs.

This said it was new in so it caught my eye, along with the mirror. Shiny things have a habit of catching my eye. This has gripping bristles that should ensure every lash is volumised. I went for the shade radiant black and this was priced at £9.99

I was checking all Bourjois liners out, as they had a board that showed you what the line would look like. This one caught my eye as the line was so precise and thin. I went for the shade ultra black, there are four shades to choose from brown, black, ultra black and gold. This should have cost £6.99 but was free as Bourjois was on offer for 3for2. This should last up to 16hrs, which will be great if it does! This has a high precision brush that allows your to draw a thin and accurate line, the result should be intense and long lasting.

That was all I purchased from boots, but then I ended up with cheeky purchase on QVC from the Tarte range.

I went for the shade fair, I had read that this was neutral shade. I would usually go for the second shade in, but this is light and I had read that it was light warm which was very orangey looking. I'm hoping this will be the right shade for me otherwise I will have to send this back, which will be sad. This is a luxurious, lightweight liquid foundation. Its designed to give high coverage but also hydrate your skin and leave your face looking radiant and flawless. This cost £31.20, however included in this price is also a double ended foundation brush from Tarte, to help deliver that flawless look.

Once I've fully tested these new products out, I will let you know my thoughts on them.

Leave me a comment if you have purchased any of these and what your thoughts are on them
