Today I'm going to share with you what I eat in a typical day. That means a normal, trying to be healthy day. Not my naughty treat weekend. However, I will share that with you at some point.
Breakfast - 6.30am
When I'm at work my day starts at half past 6.
I get up, grab my dressing gown and make my way down stairs to the kitchen.
I grab myself a pint of water, add a slice of lemon and I drink this while making my lunch for work and my breakfast.
Here's my breakfast, ive got two soft boiled eggs, a sandwich thin toasted with lurpak lightest butter. To wash it down I have a skinny cappucino.
Lunch - 12.30pm
This is what I usually have for my lunch most days, I'm kinda addicted to it right now. It's lettuce with spicy vegetable cous cous, grilled chicken and feta cheese. I also have some strawberries with me and of course my bottle of water. I've usually drank one bottle of water before lunch and then I refill my bottle and try to get that finished before I go home.
Snack - 3.30pm
Around this time I've completed my workout that I do at home, off Lucy Wyndhamread YouTube channel.
Today's snack is carrot sticks with houmous. This houmous is so yummy, it has parmesan cheese and pesto in it. I also have a green tea to drink with my snack and a glass of water.
While I'm having my snack I usually catch up on some YouTube videos.
Dinner - 6.15pm
Paul's finally home around this time which means I get to eat my dinner. Yay! Tonight we have lasagne. However mine has courgette replacing the pasta layers. I also have some smoked garlic fougasse (basically posh garlic bread) and of course some water
Snack - 7.30pm
Paul makes the cup of tea's, while I decide what sweet treat to have.
I always like to have a sweet treat after dinner, I don't feel like my evening meal is complete without having something sweet after it.
Today's sweet treat is a Fibre one bar, it's the lemon drizzle flavour. These are low calorie, low in fat and high in fibre. Its supposed to be a little guilt free indulgence and omg! they taste really good. I was slightly worried at only 90 calories these were not gonna be that great. But they are freaking amazing, i'm looking forward to trying the chocolate fudge brownie ones.
If you know of any other sweet treats that are lower in calories, but taste great, then please let me know.
