November Favourites

We are less than a month away from Christmas now, the advent calenders are poised and ready to be opened. Speaking of advent calenders. I've purchased a Hotel Chocolate couples calender, I'm pretty excited to start opening this on the 1st of December!! If you cant tell I'm quite excited for Christmas in general, we actually put our Christmas tree up at the weekend. It's probably one my favourite times of the year. But its also a very hectic time of the year too, especially because we both work in retail.

November has been a month where I feel like I've barely been outside. I've basically turned into a hermit and spent November in my Pj's, with the duvet, heating on and candles lit. The few appearances I've made outside the house, were mainly to go to work. But on the odd occasion, me and Paul have gone out for lunch together or with friends. Not venturing out the house that often, other than to go to work. Meant I didn't apply make-up, as often as I usually would. I tend to stick to the same few products for work, so its quick in the morning and so I don't really have to think about what I'm doing. This means I only have four favourites to show you this month, rather than my usual six products. Two are skincar and the other two are beauty products.

By now my skin is usually dry and looking flaky. The cold weather and the over exposure to central heating, does nothing great for my skin. I received this a few months back in one of my birchbox's. It came just at the right time, so I was able to make a switch to it, as soon as the weather started to change. My skin is looking the best, its even been, for this time of the year. This is the only thing I've changed in my skin care routine. I think my great skin, is defiantly down to this amazing product. This moisturiser uses a mix of three berries, Arctic raspberries, cloudberries and lingonberries. These are loved for their antioxidant properties and they are rich in vitamins A, C and E. This moisturiser not only nourishes and pampers dry skin, but also leaves behind a protective layer of hydration. This is also great for anyone with sensitive skin.

This is actually quite pricey for a lip balm. I don't think I would have ever purchased this lip balm myself, £12 is very pricey. But I received this in a glossy box and I'm so glad I did. Because now I don't think I could use any other lip balm, or be without this product. My lips went through a seriously bad dry patch, a few months ago and nothing I used helped them. This was the only product that actually ended up helping my lips. They have become so soft and hydrated. This lip balm is infused with Shea butter, pomegranate, rose hip and vitamin E. These all help to protect, restore your lips and keep them super soft.

This is another product that I got from a beauty box. I've literally just realised that all my favourite products this month are from past beauty boxes. At least it shows that the beauty boxes do there job, in finding products for you to discover and enjoy. This brow pencil is supposed to compliment all hair shades and skin tones. Its soft and easy to apply, with a smudge proof formula, that stays put.
I didn't really know anything about this brand, but once I read up about them. I've realised what an amazing brand this is. For every one of these brow lift perfecting liners sold, they donate one (worth £22) to the look goof feel better charity. This is supposed to help women affect by cancer, to feel confident and regain control over their appearance. Not only is this a great brow product for literally anyone, but your also buying a product that's helping fellow women.

The last of my monthly favourites, and the last of what has turned out to be a beauty box favourites, is this cream blusher and lip stain duo. You may remember me saying quite a few times, that I hate cream blushers and especially hate duo products. I've never really got on with them. This one however, I really like. The shade I have is nectar, which is a deep rose gold. This does look amazing both on the lips and on the cheeks. Usually duo products don't look great both ways, but this one definitely does. I don't know if I liked it more, because I used a blending sponge to apply this. Meaning that it didn't move my foundation around, or if its just one of the better duo products out there. This gives your cheeks a subtle flush, its been a product that I've been constantly using for work, since I received it. Its perfect for that no make-up, make-up look.

The end of November marks the beginning of December and for me it marks the beginning of Blogmas. Yes, that's right I will be doing Blogmas again this year. Who else is going to be taking part in blogmas this year or are looking forward to reading peoples blogmas's?
