Blogmas Day 3 - Haul

Black Friday and Cyber Monday brought some great shopping deals to us. I was able to save some money on a few Christmas presents, and I also saved money on some products for me. I hadn't realised how low I was on a few products, especially my shampoo. I think I had about one use left, maybe two at the most. I didn't want to buy anything from black Friday, unless I needed it for me or a present. I just didn't want to buy anything, for the sake of trying to get a deal. Your not really saving money, if you don't need something. So I thought what better time to stock up on a few of my staple items, than now.

I needed some more shampoo and conditioner, eye primer and I wanted a hair mask. I haven't had or done a hair mask in ages, I thought it would be nice to treat my hair, to that extra bit of pampering. I ended up placing an order with feel unique, they had some money off the brand of shampoo and conditioner I use.

The shampoo and conditioner I use are by Paul Mitchell. I picked up the original awaphui shampoo, in the 500ml bottle. My conditioner is the original detangler, but I picked up the 300ml bottle instead of the 500ml I still have quite a bit of this left, I didn't feel like I needed the full 500ml. I never seem to use as much conditioner as I do shampoo. The shampoo cost £10.85, its usually priced between £14.50 and £17.50. I paid £10.45 for the conditioner, which usually costs £13.95. This still might seem expensive to a few of you, for shampoo and conditioner. But this will last me about 6 months and my hair always look so much better and is more manageable when I use these products.

The hair mask I chose, was from TIGI. Its from the bed head range, called urban antidotes recovery treatment mask. I paid £9.30 for this and it usually costs £15.50 I've not used this mask before, but I have used a sample of the shampoo and conditioner before. I remembered that I'd liked the way my hair looked after using the samples, so I thought I would give the hair mask a try. This mask aims to moisturise dried out hair, smooth frazzled locks and repair signs of damage from over styling. It sounds like the perfect hair mask for me, particularly for this time of the year. I tend to style my hair more in the winter as it doesn't dry like it does in the summer.

The last thing I bought from feel unique, was the urban decay primer potion. I picked up the travel size, as I couldn't see a full size on the website. I didn't save any money on this item. But I thought, I may as well buy it, while I was buying the rest.

Around this time of the year, I also like to treat myself to something from birchbox. I save my bircbbox points up, so in December I can spend them on something I've had my eye on. Its kind of like a gift from myself. I'd had my eyes on these spectrum siren eye brushes. I've got quite a few face brushes, but I'm lacking quite a bit with eye brushes. I had £30 to spend in the birchbox shop and these cost £39.99, so all I had to put towards these, were £9.99. It's like I got seven great quality eye brushes for £9.99, which is an absolute steal.

One thing I always do, when shopping on the birchbox shop. Is check out their, gifts with purchase section. Depending on what you buy, or what you spend, you can get free gifts. I chose the, spend £10+ and get a free mystery nail polish. I wasn't sure if it was going to be a nail polish I'd even want, but I thought its free, so lets see what I get. I ended up getting this Soigne nail polish in the shade Cerise. I own a lot of nail polish, I didn't think it would be possible to receive a shade, I didn't already own. I own a few pinks, but I don't own one that's this shade. All the pinks I own are baby pink or neon pink. This is a really nice pink/purple shade. I love this brand as well, the nail polish lasts long and its also free of toxins.

Did you get any black Friday deals?
