What I Got For My Birthday

My birthday was on Friday and I turned 27! Its quite scary as I can still remember Paul singing to me in O'Neils, just as I was about to turn 20 the Courteeners song, your not 19 forever! That time has gone so quick its crazy, but I've enjoyed every year so that's the main thing. I spent the day before my birthday with family and friends at a restaurant for a meal. Then on my birthday we travelled down to London to spend the weekend there. But you'll see and hear more about that on Friday.

Anyway today I thought I would share with you what my amazing Family and Friends got my for my birthday...

Paul spoilt me as always and treat me to a weekend in London. He also treat me to some converse earlier on in the week. I just couldn't wait till my birthday to wear them.

My mum got me a chair which finishes my dressing room off perfectly. Its a ghost chair, which is basically a clear chair. I've been eyeing this chair up for quite some time to go behind my dressing table. But I just kept putting it off as I had a chair that was fine for now. I was so excited when this arrived. Its just so pretty and far more elegant than the chair I had. Like I said, it just completed my dressing room. I promise I'll get round to showing you what my dressing room looks like soon.

My mum also got me these gorgeous shoe boots from River Island. I've had my eye on these for quite some time, they look like the perfect day time shoe as the heels not too high. There also the perfect transitional shoe, from winter to spring.

My friend bought me the Emporio Armani Diamonds, rose perfume. I've never smelt this before but it smells so good, its got a really fresh and fruity scent. It can be quite tricky picking a perfume for someone other than yourself. But she did an amazing job and I guess that's why she is my best friend, she just knows me so well. She also got me this Gin and Tonic candle from Next. Other than a cocktail, Gin and Tonics are my favourite drink. The last thing she treat me to was some Lindor chocolates, I'm a chocolate fiend and I'm not going to lie these have already been demolished.

My Grandma gave me money in my card but also got me a couple of little things to open. She bought me a pen, no matter how old I am I always love receiving stationary! She also got me some Cadbury Roses chocolates. Again I've already demolished these too. I spent Sunday feeling quite sick after nearly polishing off both boxes to myself.

The rest of my family gave me money in my cards, so I can go buy things that I really want and need. I've already spent a little bit of my birthday money while I was in London, on two bits of make-up. We don't have a Debenhams were I live, so while I was in an area that does I took the opportunity to buy a couple of bits of make-up. The first is from Kat Von D and its a repurchase of my favourite eye liner, its the tattoo liner in trooper. This hasn't run out yet, but its on its way and I wanted to make sure I had a backup for when it did. The other item I bought was from Too Faced, its their born this way foundation. I've been wanting to try this for a while, but was unsure what shade I would be. I got matched up and ended up being the lightest shade they had in store, which is Snow.

I'm thank full for all the money and amazing gifts that my family and Friends gave me. I cant wait to spend the rest of my birthday money on things I've been eyeing up over the past few months. I'm sure there will be plenty of hauls over the next month, when I've spent all my birthday money.

What one bit of make-up are you eager to try out?
