Seriously March seems to have just flown by and I feel like I've done nothing! It's definitely been my least sociable month. Other than working, the only thing I really did this month was organise Sunday lunch at mine for mothers day. Anyway I'm glad were at the end of March because today is my BIRTHDAY!!! I'm not excited or anything! I've got lots planned for my birthday and you'll hear all about it next Friday. I'm also excited for April to be here as its finally holiday time, which means I need to get myself organised over the next few weeks.
Lets get into this months favourites....
I often forget to mention my favourite beauty tools and I definitely haven't given this beauty sponge enough attention. This little beauty sponge has taken centre stage in my make-up routine for the past few months. It's all I've been using to apply my foundation. I have two back up sponges, I love it that much. I very rarely use a brush now. What makes this sponge so great? It blends foundation flawlessly and it does it really quickly. The sponges are also really quick to clean and can be used damp, so no need to wait for it to dry.
This is a Korean brand that I received in February's Birchbox. This highly concentrated serum is aimed at dry and ageing skin. Its enriched with Bulgarian rose damascene oil and 79% organic aloe vera to fight against the signs of ageing, naturally. This stuff not only helps wrinkles but will also smooth, brighten, hydrate and refine to give a glowing complexion. My husband recently commented on how my skin looked more radiant and I believe its down to this little serum. I've been using it for around three weeks now and I've seen an improvement in my dry patches and have a nice glow to my skin. You all know how much I don't like a rose scent and this does have a rose scent, but its a light one. I don't find this overpowering, which is great considering I'm putting it on my face.
Another beauty box discovery, this time from Glossybox the January edition. This moisturiser is classed as a super food power house, it contains kale, watercress and almond oil. These all work together to deeply nourish skin and protect against external aggressors that cause dry skin. This also contains aloe vera and shea butter, which help to sooth skin and improve its texture. I find this moisturiser to be really light and refreshing, usually nourishing moisturisers are quite thick and heavy. This moisturiser keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day and has a light cucumber scent to it, which I love.
I love Ciate nail polish in general, they have a variety of colours, the colours are long lasting and the pigmentation is great. I love the wide brush too, it makes it quicker and easier to apply the polish. This has been my go to nail colour this month! Iced Frappe is a nude grey/lilac shade, its a very spring colour and looks great with whatever I'm wearing.
This is a multi-tasking balm that has a whole host of benefits. It adds moisturise, shine, aids smoothness, adds definition, softens strands, protects against humidity, increases manageability and lastly speeds up styling. This really is a wonder balm! My hair was in a good condition to start with, but I find my hair is in even better condition when I use this. Most the time I let my hair naturally dry and I've found that my hair is a lot less frizzy and dries in its natural waves so much better, when I use this. Meaning I don't have to style it as much, as it looks great in its natural wavy state.
These featured recently in my Feel Unique haul. I bought them to keep my hair more restrained when I was working out. I was finding that my hair was falling out my normal invisibobble during my HIIT exercises, the bobble couldn't take the weight of my hair with all the jumping. However, I can confirm that these do indeed keep my hair locked in place while I'm working out. These are great for anyone that wants to avoid split ends, hair headaches and bobble lines whilst still keeping hair tamed during a workout.
What's been your most favourite product this month?
