Blogmas Day 5 - Black Friday Haul

As you know I've been very unorganised this year with buying Christmas presents. But this allowed me to save money by buying quite a few of them on Black Friday. However what I ended up saving in the Black Friday sales, I think I ended up spending on myself. Every time I placed an order for some Christmas presents for my family and friends, I ended up adding something to the order for me too.

Here's what I bought in this years Black Friday.....

My black Friday shop started with an online order from New Look. I bought a couple of presents off here and also added a few things to the bag for me.

I needed some new slippers, mine were completely wrecked. I picked up these grey bunny slippers that should have been £10.99 but I got them for £8.24. I love woodland animals, I have some woodland print pj's so of course I needed bunny slippers to go with these.

I've been eyeing up some lobe earrings on Astrid & Miyu, but they're a little on the pricey side for one earring. Especially when I'm unsure if I'll find them irritating on my ears. But while searching on the New Look website I came across a set of four lobe earrings for £4.99, but I got them for £3.74. I thought these would be a great cheaper version, so that I could try these out and see if I like them before committing to one from Astrid&Miyu.

Then I got a couple of beauty items, which were on buy one get one free. I've been wanting some nail art tools, as I've been really getting into doing my own nails again. This little set here was £4.99 and it's exactly what I've been looking for! Lets hope I can actually work the tools and be able to do the nail art I want to.

For my get one free, I picked up this peel off base coat. I'd seen one like this from Barry M and liked the idea of it, but I was unsure if it would be any good. So when I saw New Look had one, I thought I may as well try it out with it being my freebie. This base coat is supposed to be great to use with glitter polish, as glitter polish can be extremely hard to remove. But with a peel off base coat, you should be able to just peel it off. This should have been £3.99, but of course I got it for £0 with it being my freebie.

My next online order was placed on Asos, they had 20% off for Black Friday. I bought some Christmas presents off there too and also picked myself some stuff up. It would be rude not to when there's 20% off right?

I picked up this really cosy looking black cardigan. I only have one black cardigan in my wardrobe, it only has 3/4 sleeves and it's a bit thin to be honest. This one had full length sleeves, it's very thick and just feels really cosy. This should have been £28, but I picked it up for £22.40.

I also bought a couple of thumb rings. I've always had an obsession with thumb rings and I've recently seen quite a few coming in on the Asos website. I really liked these two gold ones. One looks more edgy, with its claw like details and the other is very dainty, with a leaf and crystal design. I could also wear the dainty one on my fingers and not just on my thumb. The claw like one was £4, I paid £3.20. The dainty one should have been £10 and I got it for £8.

It seems my online shopping wasn't enough to satisfy my shopping needs and I ended up taking a trip into town with my Mum, We went to try and find presents and I did buy a few, but unfortunately I still managed to buy some things for myself too.

We went into House of Fraser and I found this beautiful red jumper in the Miss Selfridge section. I've got quite a few jumpers, but I don't have one in red. This one is very chunky and over sized, its going to keep me warm and add some colour into my winter wardrobe. This should have been £35, but the price went down to £24.50.

The last Black Friday Item I bought was from Matalan. I really wanted some Christmas bedding, but I'd not seen anything that wasn't too over the top. I wasn't expecting to buy anything, me and and my Mum went into Matalan so she could buy some more baubles. While I was looking at the Christmas decorations this beautiful Christmas bedding caught my eye. Its white and grey, which will go perfectly in my bedroom and it has stags on it!!! (remember what I said earlier, my love of woodland animals) This bedding is also brushed cotton, which keeps you warmer so its perfect for the winter. I didn't think this Christmas bedding was too in your face, it looks more like its just for the winter so I think I could easily use this after Christmas. I wont be putting this on my bed yet, I'll be waiting until Christmas eve (there's nothing like fresh bedding on Christmas eve!) This was priced at £25 and I managed to get this for £18.75 .

Did you get any bargains on Black Friday?
