I've saved up all my empty products just for you guys! I'm going to share with you what I've managed to use up and give you a mini review on each product. I've got six products to share with you today, two are hair related, two are skin care and the last two are beauty products.
This is a scalp refreshing leave in dry shampoo, that's suitable for all hair-types. I'd never tried this dry shampoo before and I'm always up for trying new products. I actually purchased this from Birchbox, with my saved up Birchbox points. It's great you feel like your getting products for free and you don't feel hard done by, if you don't end up liking the product. I wouldn't say this is the best dry shampoo I've used, but I wouldn't say it was the worst. I felt like I had to use a lot of this product to get the result you expect from a dry shampoo and what I have been getting from other dry shampoo's I've used. With a price tag of £14.50 its a bit on the pricey side. I personally don't think this it's worth the money and there are far better dry shampoo's out there for 1/4 of that price. I wont be repurchasing this.
This is a gentle wash shampoo, that's suitable for fine, medium and chemically treated hair types. I was turned onto Paul Mitchell products by my hair dresser. Yes there more expensive than your average everyday shampoo's. But they leave my hair looking and feeling so much better. My hair also styles much better when I use Paul Mitchell products. This costs £14.50 for a 500ml bottle, however you can get 250ml for a cheaper price or go all out and buy the 1000ml bottle. Most of the time I buy mine from look fantastic, as there is usually some kind of offer on or you can buy a duo pack for a better price. This is the only shampoo I use on my hair and my hair has never been in such great condition. The other great thing about this shampoo is that you only need a small amount, as it really lathers up. So although your paying more, this will probably last you longer than your normal shampoo. If you haven't checked out Paul Mitchell's hair products before, then I would definitely recommend to, there are so many great products that target different hair types. I already repurchased this, when I felt it getting to the end.
I've tried quite a few face wipes and I've finally realised that simple face wipes are by far my favourite. These wipes don't dry out if you close the pack properly. I've had a pack open for a month before and they were still like new. The wipes are really soft, there's no alcohol in these so they wont dry your skin out and there is no artificial perfume to these. These are really great for anyone with or without sensitive skin. They have pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E, which help to leave your skin feeling fresh, clean and moisturised. The best part is that they also remove waterproof mascara too. These retail for £3.25, but you can often find them in your local supermarket on offer for £2. I will defiantly be repurchasing these and would recommend anyone who hasn't to try these out, to go and try them.
This is a gel to oil cleanser, it comes out as a gel and when applied to the face turns to an oil. It removes make-up, surface oil and dirt from the day. This has a blend of oils that aim to break down the oils on your skin, melt make-up, waterproof mascara and impurities away. Leaving you with clean and nourished skin that doesn't feel dried out. This cleanser has no hidden nasties and is suitable for all skin types. I received this as a sample in my Birchbox, I saved it times when I'm away as its a perfect travel size. Every time this product made its was into my travel bag, I always ended up falling back in love with it. Its probably one of the best cleanser I've used. It removes make-up in no time and my skin feels amazing afterwards. This does cost £24.00 for 125ml, but I do think its worth the price. I will be repurchasing this soon.
This is a blending sponge, that's great for applying foundation flawlessly. This is so similar to the beauty blender. It's not as squishy as the beauty blender, but it does get the same results. The only thing that the beauty blender is better at is getting in around my eye area. As the complexion sponge is quite thick at the end. If your looking to try a beauty sponge out or are a lover of the beauty blender. Then I would recommend trying this one out. Its a fraction of the price at £5.99 and gets you flawless results just like the famous beauty blender. I've already repurchased a new one.
The name says it all really, It's an eyeshadow primer and its one of my holy grail products. This really keeps your eyeshadow in place. A few naughty times I've fell asleep with my make-up on and woke up the next morning with my eyes still looking as great as they did the day before. I've never found a eyeshadow primer that's anywhere near as good as this. If you haven't tried this out yet, why not? These now come in three shades, Original, Sin and Eden at £16 or you can pay £2 more and buy the anti-ageing one. A price worth paying to keep that well applied eyeshadow and liner in place. It also lasts ages, as you don't need to apply too much. I've already repurchased the original one.
That's it for my empty products, I hope enjoyed this and I hope my mini reviews help you buy products that are worth your hard earned money.
What's the next product you've got your eye on and are thinking about buying?
Mines the Stila perfect me palette, I just bought one for my friend for her birthday. I'm very jealous and want one for myself now. It's so pretty and I love that you can buy the sets for your skin tone!
