Most people I've spoke to were glad to
see the end of 2016. In some ways so am I. There was a few personal things that happened in my family, that I will be glad to see the back of. But for the most part I loved and enjoyed
2016. One of my 2016 resolutions was to take more photos. Throughout the
whole of 2015 I only took a handful of photos and ended up having no
photos of our holiday, to Las Vegas and Hawaii. Thankfully Paul was with
me and took loads of photos, so we do have some from our trip. I would
say I definitely fulfilled that resolution in 2016. I took way more
photos than I did than 2014 and 2015 put together.
Here's just a few of
the photos I took throughout 2016 and what we got up to.
90's Party - January
Keldy Forest - February
Wedding - March
Birthday Meal - March
Paris - April
San Francisco - April
LA - April
Chicago - April
Leeds Escape room - August
Kos, Greece - September
Nottingham - October
Vegas Party - November
Christmas - December
As you can see, we were lucky enough to travel to lots of places in 2016. We also hung out a lot with friends and went on mini adventures with them. I cant pick a moment from 2016 that was the best for me, as we just did so many amazing things. I know I'm really lucky to have been able to travel to so many places in one year. I'm also lucky to have an amazing family and bunch of friends to make memories with.
2017
There are a few resolutions I want to make for 2017, these are:
- Carry on taking lots of photos - I want to document all the fun we have, so in the years to come I can look back at them.
- Keep travelling the world - This year we wont be travelling to so many places. But every year I would like to travel to one destination I've never been to. In my attempt to try and see the world.
- Enjoy everyday - Stop wasting so much time and get out and live life to the full. I want to stop saying NO I cant do that and try to do so many more things and just enjoy life.
- Be positive - At times I can be so negative, I'm sure we can all be like that at times. But I want to try and look at the positives in everything and focus on them, rather than focusing on the negatives in life.
I'm looking forward to what 2017 will bring. I've no idea what we will get up to this year. But I'm already in planning mode, trying to figure out what to do for my birthday, in March and where to go on holiday this year.
Have you made any plans for 2017 yet?
