I've finally finished lots of products, that means its time to share my thoughts with you. I like to do these mini reviews on products I've fully finished, as I can give you a more honest opinion of the product. I've got five products to share with you today. I hope these mini reviews will help you make a decision on whether these product would be right for you too.
I'm going to start with the only make-up item I have in my empties this month and its the....
This is becoming one of my all time favourite foundations! This is a medium to high coverage foundation, it builds well without feeling cakey. I don't actually feel like I'm wearing foundation when I have this on, as my face just feels so light. I love how this gives my skin a really nice healthy glow, while keeping those imperfections covered all day!. If you want to see a more in depth review of this product, then check out the full review I did here. There was only one foundation I wanted to take on holiday with me and it was this foundation, so I had to go out and buy a replacement pretty quick. But that's just how much I love it!
Onto some skincare products now...
This exfoliates, hydrates and calms the skin. Its packed with gentle but effective ingredients that buff away dead skin to reveal soft, smooth and radiant skin. This leaves my face feeling soft after every use. Its not harsh on my skin, in fact its that gentle it can be used on sensitive skin. This really did help to decongest my skin but still left my skin looking hydrated, rather than stripped. I would easily repurchase this product as I did enjoy using it, I do have a few other products to try first so I wont be re-purchasing it just yet. But its on the re-buy list.
I love sheet masks, I think there brilliant. You can easily pack them and take them on holiday with you for a quick pick me up. The sheet masks are soaked in a liquid formula that treat multiple skin concerns. The one I have is by a Korean brand and is a hydrating mask. It uses the extracts of the Manuka honey to nourish and moisturise the skin. When your skins in need of a quick pick me up these are just the best. There quick to use and mess free. Rather than having something to wash off your face your just pat the remaining serum into your face. I enjoyed using this mask, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go and re-buy this brand again. Its nothing against the brand, I just want to try the many other sheet mask brands out there.
This is a strip that you stick onto your nose, which draws out impurities and unclogs the pores. I have quite a few black heads on my nose, so I do like to use these every now and then. I completely forgot how much I liked these until I used one the other day. Its so satisfying to pull this off and see how much crap its pulled out of your pores. I used to use the normal ones, but I saw these charcoal ones and thought these might be better than the normal ones. As charcoal is great for oily skin and my nose is an area that suffers from excess oils. I would easily buy these again, there easy to use and effective.
Lastly we have a body care product...
Body butters from the body shop are just amazing. They all have amazing scents, but they are also really hydrating and soften the skin. Even though they are super hydrating they don't leave you with a sticky feeling, the butter sinks into the skin pretty quickly. The strawberry scent is one of my favourites and I most definitely will be repurchasing this soon, along with the strawberry body scrub!
What's your favourites body butter scent?
