April Favourites

Another month that's flown by! But me and Paul got up to quite a bit as usual. We celebrated my birthday in London and went to the mad hatters tea party, which I'd been wanting to do for so long.  We celebrated Paul's birthday, with friends and family. Our new sofa finally arrived and we enjoyed many comfy chilled out evenings watching films. The best bit though, is that our trip is finally upon us and its time for us to enjoy another travelling adventure.

The end of April doesnt just mark the start of our adventure though, it means its time to pick my monthly favourites. Here's what I've been loving this month...

An absolute favourite of mine all year round, but especially this month due to me running out of my favourite foundation (Lo’real cushion) This month I’ve been using this user my eyes and in any areas that need that extra bit of attention. It’s been leaving me with a clear and glory looking complexion. I’ve then be following this concealer up with my next favourite this month, which is…

Yes another Maybelline product. As you can tell from the packaging, this has been a well loved product. It’s a little on the dark side for me, so it's not something that I wear over a foundation. But this is perfect to apply over a light covering of concealer. It just helps to add a little bit of colour to my competition and it's also great at blurring those pores

I've had a few of these little sample sachets for quite sometime. I usually take them on holiday and use the oil for smoothing out flyaways. But this time I used it as a hair mask! It's a multi use oil that can be used before washing hair, after washing hair and after styling. My scalp has been in a spot of bother for a few months. I think my love and over use of dry shampoo has caused my scalp to become a little bit dry. I applied all of this 3ml sachet to my scalp and down the rest of my hair and let it sink while I did some house work. After I had washed and dried my hair I couldn't believe how soft and healthy my hair looked. The main thing that made this my favourite this month though is how healthy my scalp looked too. There wasn't a dry flake in sight after using this! I'm now going to be buying the full sized hair oil to ensure my hair and scalp stay in this tip top condition.

This is a creamy golden highlighter. The pigmentation is amazing and this is just the perfect spring/summer highlighter. I prefer golden highlighters in the warmer months and the silver pink highlighter for winter. This adds a really nice glow to your face that's not too over or understated. I got this in the feel unique beauty bag at the beginning of March, I've been using it nearly everyday since then.

Ever since I got this in my March Birchbox I've been wearing this! It's a beautiful sheer berry red shade, that's perfect for any occasion. I'm not sold on the lip liner part of the lipstick, I don't really think it works that well. But the two shades together make an amazing shade of lipstick. It's not the most long wearing lipstick, but the colour is worth having to re-apply more often.

What month are you most looking forward to and why?
