What I Wore June

This month I thought I would try something different and share with you all my favourite outfits I wore this month. I don't get to put outfits together as often as I'd like, as I wear a uniform for work and when I come home I usually get changed into workout gear or PJ's. My uniform, workout gear and PJ's are literally the only things I wear most days. When I finally get a day off and I'm not stuck inside doing boring adult things such as cleaning the house, I really like to make the effort and have fun with putting an outfit together.

I've had quite a busy month, every weekend we've had something on. Birthdays, meals out and BBQ's. The summer months have to be some of my favourite, the suns shines, people are happier and more of us want to get out of the house and socialise, instead of being the hermits that most of us become in the winter months. I'm guilty of that in the winter!

I have five outfits to share with you this month, I'll be looking forward to finding out which one is your favourite.

Outfit one - 50th Birthday Party

I wore a black lace dress that was in a fit and flare style. It has a layered skirt and sexy cut outs around the waist and down the middle of the cleavage. The back of this dress is quite low too. This dress can be quite difficult to wear without a bra. If your like me, have smaller boobs and feel confident enough to go out without a bra on then go for it. If you have bigger boobs or don't feel as confident to go bra free, then your going to need one sneaky bra for this dress. I personally don't feel confident to go out without a bra on, I was scared I was going to show more than what I wanted to especially at a 50th birthday party. Luckily I had this amazing bra in my draw that has a clear strap between the cleavage, clear strap on the back and detachable shoulder straps which could be changed into clear straps or worn however you liked. Basically the best bra for this dress! You couldn't tell I was wearing a bra, which was the idea and it made me feel so much more comfortable. To finish off this outfit I added a pop of colour with my shoes and followed that colour on with my lipstick.

Outfit Two - Food and Cocktails with Friends

I absolutely love this dress, red is one of my favourite colours and the dress itself is so flattering. Its a fit and flare style with ruffle hem and bell sleeves. It has an oriental white blossom flower print. I brought the black out of the print by wearing some black heeled sandals. It was the perfect flowy outfit for lots of food and drink, just make sure you don't dip your sleeves in the food. Yes I dipped my sleeve in my coleslaw as I went to get my cocktail!

Outfit Three - Seaside Walks with Fish N Chips

It doesn't matter how warm it is, the seafront is always that little bit chillier. We went on a walk with our friends and their dog (Jake), got an ice cream and later on me and Paul went and grabbed some fish and chips. To ensure I was warm enough down the seafront I wore these dungarees, which are distressed on the thighs, knees and by the ankles. I wanted to make sure I wasn't cold and I didn't want to end up  too warm either, so I wore a short sleeve stripy body underneath. To keep the look chilled out and relaxed and stay comfy for our walk I wore my converse.

Outfit Four - Birthday Meal

We were going to Damon's for a friends birthday and I knew I would be eating quite a bit, so I wanted something that was a bit floaty to keep comfy. I chose to wear this dress from Primark, you may have seen this in a recent haul. I would wear this in the day as well as the evening and I think its the perfect date night outfit. I dressed it up with heels so it was more evening friendly.

Outfit Five - BBQ

We hosted a BBQ at ours this weekend and I wore this shorts and tee combo. I thought this outfit would keep me cool and comfy on the hot summer day, you may have also seen both of these in my recent haul. It kept me cool and comfortable while I was running around being a good host. I didn't wear any shoes as we were at home, but I would have worn my converse if we'd gone out.
