January Glossybox

If you read my recent Birchbox vs Glossybox 2017 post, you will know that overall for the year Glossybox was the better box in my opinion. You may also know that I decided to cancel my subscription to Birchbox and keep my Glossybox one. Whether or not that's a decision I'll be happy with in a few months time is yet to be discovered. But for now I'm very happy with my decision and I was very impressed with January's box.
Everyone wants to take better care of themselves in January, whether that's eating better, moving more or looking after yourself more with a bit of pampering. January is the time were you feel like you can hit the reset button and just try and make small changes to make yourself feel better. In this months Glossybox there are five products to help pamper yourself with, to help rid the tired winter skin and bring your complexion back to a nourished state.

Serums and moisturises are vital for great skin, but they can only penetrate so far. That's were these supplements come in. These nutrient rich supplements help boost your efforts. The Beauty Beneath formula consists of two soft gel capsules, that are to be taken daily. Each are packed with a blend of 19 nutrients, that are essential for healthy glowing skin. These nutrients also work to boost your own collagen production, which helps to fade fine lines and wrinkles. Glossybox have included a full months box because it takes around 4 weeks for the results to take effect. This means we get to really try these out and see if they make a difference. Collagen production slows down in your 20's. I'm 27, turning 28 in March and if these tablets can boost collagen production then I'm all for them!
For a full months supply this costs £39.99

A primer is essential for flawless, long lasting makeup. This primer is packed with moisturising ingredients, including avocado oil and green tea extract, which should nourish and protect your complexion. While also reducing the appearance of fine lines, large pores and it should also help keep your makeup in place for longer. I use primers daily so I'm excited to try this out and see if this does all that it says it does.

This facial oil is packed full of skin enriching minerals and vitamins, which all work together to rejuvenate, renew and protect your complexion. I actually got a travel size of this out of my Look Fantastic advent calender and I fell in love with this as soon as I started using it. This smells amazing! Its more of a water consistency than an oil, which is great as it doesn't leave you with that greasy feeling. It sinks into the skin quickly and my skin has been loving it. So I was very excited to receive another travel size, as a backup!
A travel size costs £35.90 for 15ml and the full size which is 30ml costs £55

This is a blend of vitamins, plant extracts, revitalising eucalyptus and soothing lavender, which all get to work on brittle nails, split cuticles and dry skin. Just massaging a few drops into the nail bed and cuticles will give instant hydration and stronger nails. I've not heard of this brand before, but its a product I'm looking forward to trying out. My nails have been snapping a lot lately so hopefully this will bring some strength back to them.

This is a deep honey pink hue, which suits all skin tones. You can get a subtle flush to the cheeks by slowly dabbing it on, building the colour up as you want. It's also rich in bee pollen, which nourishes the skin. I'm not a fan of cream products, I like cream highlighters but blusher and bronzers I'm not a fan of. I do really like the colour of this though and the feel of this blush from swatching it. It does seem like its an easy to blend out blusher and I really like the idea that its nourishing your skin too. I think I might get wear out of this in the spring summer time, which is when I use more cream products.
This is also full size and costs £22.

Box value : £125.88
Full size products : 4/5
Excited to try : 5/5

I cant wait to delve into all of these products. Obviously I already own one of the products, but I was still super excited to have a back up, as its a product I love. Its vary rare to get a full box of products where you want to try everything and have high hopes for everything. I'm even looking forward to road testing the cream blusher, which is such a shock for me. Overall this month Glossybox have nailed it! The products fit very well into this months theme of 'reboot and rejuvenate' as all these products have something to do with nourishing your body, even the blusher. Also the box value is shocking, but amazing!

Which product would you be most excited to try out of this months beauty box?
