~ Haul ~

I took a little trip to my local boots the other day with the hope of getting a face mask and an orange lippy that I've been wanting for a while now. Well there just happened to be 3 for 2 across makeup so I had to take advantage of that as there's always products I'm wanting to try. There was also buy one get one half price in skincare. So I made sure I took full advantage of both of these offers.

I will start first with the makeup and one of my main reasons for going into boots.

Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain in rendezvous £7.99

Every time I saw the Revlon advert with Emma stone for the new matt and lacquer balms I wanted the colours she wore. I loved the bright pink and orange colour she wore in the advert. I'm more of a nude and pale pink lipstick girl the only bold colour I wear is usually a bright red for special occasions. This year I want to take makeup out of my comfort zone and go for the bright bold lips. So i decided I would try an orange colour. The orange I saw on the advert I believe was the matt balm in the colour audacious, but the just bitten kissable blam is shiney and little less on the bright side so I knew I could definatley get away with this colour. Next time maybe I will try the matt orange or go for a bright pink. This balm is really creamy and very long lasting it has a spearmint smell to it which is kinda strange but cool.

Soap and glory super at eyeliner pen - carbon black extreme £6 (my freebie product)

I also needed a new eyeliner. I'm really loving pen liners at the moment and have tried a few different ones. It was time to try another one I decided on soap and glory as I've been hearing lots lf good stuff about the makeup line. This is super black as you can see from the swatch and it didn't smudge when I rubbed it. The end is very pointed and and easy to use. The nib is also soft it's not hard so it doesn't pull or scratch on the eye.

Meybelline the eraser eye £7.99

I have a concealer I love it's the collection 2000 one, but I do find that this tends to crease around my eyes which is not good so I'm on the search for one just as good at concealing but doesn't crease. This is a perfect and cover concealer. It's supposed to correct and conceal dark circles, puffiness and fine lines. It's light in consistancy but has great coverage, I like the sponge applicator for around the eye as it's gentle but it's not very hygenic so I will probably apply to the back of my hand and then into the eye area. It's anti aging which at the moment I don't really need but prevention is the best cure!

On to the skincare
Soap and glory no clogs allowed £11.50 (my half price product)

I haven't had a good face mask that's supposed to get all the rubbish out of your skin for a while. Throughout the winter I'd been using a moisturising one. This is a self heating deep pore detox mask. It's supposed to melt away pore-plugging sebum and soften skin cells to prevent breakouts. It's a scrub consistency and you have to massage it into your face so that it turns from a yellow paste to a blue paste, this activates the heat. You then leave it on your face for 5 minutes to let it work it's magic. I can't wait to try this out, I hope it's as good as it sounds and will let you know.

Soap and glory feel good factor £12.00

I'd read about this on nouvelle daily and thought it sounded rather good. It's a moisturiser, bb cream, primer and sunblock in one product. It's SPF 25, brightening and mattifying. It's a weightless cream that sinks into skin beautifully. I'm looking forward to using this and will do a review on this moisturiser once I have used it for a few weeks.

  1. I love the 2 Soap and Glory products you bought, I use the BB Cream everyday it's that good! I have the Revlon Matte Balm in Audacious and it's not as scary on as it is looking at it. I find it sits in the cracks of your lips though, but maybe that's just my lips x
